The facts behind Botox injections

 If your goal is to look younger and have smooth looking skin, you may want to consider a cosmetic treatment of botulinum toxin or its more popular name, Botox injections.  This is a non-surgical process with the goal of eliminating lines and crows feet on the forehead, around the eyes and the neck.  Botox injections only temporarily remove lines which means you have to continue treatments for lasting effects.

Botox injections involve toxin that basically paralyzes the muscles that cause wrinkles by stopping the nerve impulses.  This creates smooth, younger looking skin.  The paralysis is not permanent and will gradually wear off which will activate the facial muscles again.  Over time, wrinkles and fine lines will become more visible unless additional treatments take place.
